Feodosia is an important administrative, industrial and resort center on the coast of Feodosian gulf. The town also is a big commercial port. Feodosia was founded in the VI century BC.
Salabrious microclimate and best quality mud of the lake Adzhigol make Feodosia a very popular health resort among those who have gastrointestinal diseases. Nervous system diseases, problems with circulation organs, chronic kidney and biliary tracts diseases, pancreatic diabetes are also being treated.
Water “Feodosiyskaya” was recognized as the best medicinal water in Europe in 1916.
There are many excellent museums in Feodosia: Feodosian Ayvazovsky picture gallery, A.S.Green museum, national museum of gliding, Vvedenska cathedra – the most ancient architecture monument in Feodosia, Armenian church, mosque Mufty-Dzhamy, St. Sergiy’s Cathedral.
Rest in Feodosia means sand beaches, stretching along the gulf, numerous medieval monuments, sea excursions, horse and car tourism, musical festivals, restaurants, bars and disco clubs by the sea.
